Small Bites Adventure Club is proud to announce our partnership with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer.

Alex’s Lemonade Stand for Childhood Cancer (ALSF) was founded by a brave little girl named Alex. Before her first birthday, she was diagnosed with neuroblastoma. Despite the odds, she continued to grow. When she was 4 years old, she decided to make a difference by selling lemonade to raise money for doctors to help other kids with cancer. When she died at the age of 8, she had raised $1 million. Today, her legacy lives on as children continue her dream by running their own lemonade stands and donating profits to Alex’s mission.

We are partnering with Alex’s Lemonade Stand to promote their mission and inspire children to give back. ALSF is changing the lives of children with cancer by funding research, raising awareness, supporting families and empowering others to help cure childhood cancer.

Research suggests that we are actually happier than when we give money away the when we spend it on ourselves. Moreover, children have a strong desire to help others. Sometimes, grownups just need to give them the tools to be successful. ALSF makes this process easy and fun!
